We are alive and well - and back in civilisation!

We're now going through a long to-do list back in Cambridge Bay, and we fly out to Vancouver tomorrow (Thursday), so unfortunately I don't have the time to write a decent update detailing the pilot's breathtaking landing to collect us... but hopefully we will in Vancouver when things calm down.

For now though I thought I should at least sent out this brief message to let you know we are not in fact still out there anymore (bit of a pity actually - we do miss it already - we are both finding it hard to sleep now submersed in the noises, lights and heat of civilisation).

We have had an unbelievable journey, and have been so lucky with the countless unforgettable experiences we had out on the land here. We just did a lecture/presentation for the local high school here in Cambridge Bay. It was great as we'd even forgotten some of the earlier photographs... taken, it seems, a lifetime ago. How different we look in those early days. =P

I will write a proper update from some comfortable cafe in Vancouver..... droool.... with a coffee in one hand.. cheesecake....

'Till then....
